IELTS - Important Reminder for Provisional Skills Assessment Applicants

Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has noted that applicants applying for a Provisional Skills Assessment in the Job Ready Program are increasingly completing the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) section of the online application incorrectly.

TRA requires that all applicants supply their IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) number.  TRA will use this number to verify test results directly with IELTS. If applicants do not supply the correct number, TRA will be unable to verify results.

The TRF number should be included in the online application in the field IELTS Candidate Test Number. The TRF number is found in the bottom right hand corner of the IELTS Test Report Form. It is usually 16-18 characters long.

It is important that applicants enter the TRF number correctly.

The TRF number consists of numbers and letters. It is essential that applicants enter a “O” or “o” where the character is a letter and a “0” (zero) where it is a number.

Applicants who enter an incorrect TRF number should expect an unsuccessful result.
