The employment experience requirement for Pathway 2 of both the 457 Skills Assessment Program and Offshore Skills Assessment Program has been reduced.

From 1 August 2011, applicants who require a skills assessment under Pathway 2 of the 457 Skills Assessment Program or Offshore Skills Assessment Program will be required to demonstrate three years full time paid employment in a relevant and directly related trade. This must include 12 months full time paid employment in the nominated trade in the two years prior to lodging the application.
