If you advise the Department that you cannot undertake GEERS work, the Department may engage a third party to conduct GEERS work.

This third party will, subject to each case’s circumstances:

• Verify employees’ claims for GEERS assistance
• Assist in determining and/or verifying eligible entitlements for GEERS assistance; and/or
• Distribute and confirm payment of a GEERS advance to eligible employees
