This page contains information about providing a quote to conduct GEERS services, what information must be included in the quote and what you need to do before submitting the invoice.
When should you submit a quote?
You should only submit a quote if the work you will do is outside the routine services undertaken in the course of the insolvency process.
From time to time the Department may pay an insolvency practitioner’s reasonable costs associated with the administration of GEERS. For this, the Department requires a statement from the insolvency practitioner to verify that there are no funds in the insolvency to fund the GEERS process together with a written quote. This quote must be formally approved by the Department before any work is undertaken on the Department’s behalf.
