From 25 February 2010, small businesses with less than 15 employees can apply for grants of up to $15,000 from the Australian Government to put in place family-friendly working arrangements. The Government will support new, innovative ideas through the second round of the Fresh Ideas for Work and Family grants program.
Information workshops on the Fresh Ideas for Work and Family grants program will be held in all capital cities from 15-26 February 2010.
Businesses that received first round funding in 2009 have already put in place practices that help employees manage their work and family responsibilities. This is good news for both employees and business. More information is available in the Fresh Ideas case studies.
Applications for round two of the Fresh Ideas for Work and Family grants program close on 31 March 2010.
