VET FEE-HELP is a student loan scheme for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector that is part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). VET FEE-HELP assists eligible students undertaking certain VET courses of study (diploma, advanced diploma, graduate certificate and graduate diploma courses). It allows them to borrow funds up to their FEE-HELP limit to help pay for all or part of their tuition fees. Students who access VET FEE-HELP assistance will have a loan with the Australian Government who will, on the student’s behalf, pay their tuition fees to their approved VET provider.
VET FEE-HELP loans can only be accessed through approved VET providers. Students can obtain all the appropriate information, including the VET FEE-HELP Information booklet and forms, from their approved VET provider.
The VET FEE-HELP Student fact sheet is a quick reference guide for individuals interested in learning more about studying now and paying later using VET FEE-HELP assistance.
The VET FEE-HELP Information booklet (2010 edition) is designed to assist students to understand VET FEE-HELP, and their rights and responsibilities when accessing VET FEE-HELP assistance.
