The 457 Skills Assessment Program is an assessment pathway for applicants applying for a Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship visa (Subclass 457). To apply you must work in a nominated occupation and hold a passport from a nominated country.
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) may also ask you to have a skills assessment through this program when you are not from a nominated country or occupation. The request will be in writing and will advise you how to apply.

Applying for the 457 Skills Assessment
TRA approved Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) do the skills assessments for this program on TRA’s behalf. Information on how to find a TRA approved RTO is contained in the Guidelines.
