Education Network Australia (EdNA)
is a network of the education and training community. It includes government and non-government schooling systems, early childhood, vocational and technical education, adult and community education and higher education.
National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)
is Australia's principal provider of vocational education and training (VET) research and statistics.
The
Adult Literacy Resource
provides information on research topics ranging from adult literacy teaching and learning approaches and outcomes, to the professional development needs of literacy practitioners. The topics also cover various literacy practices and delivery approaches across Indigenous and CALD communities, industry, volunteer and community settings.
National Training Information Service
is the database on vocational education and training in Australia. NTIS is the official national register of information on Training Packages, Qualifications, Courses, Units of Competency and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and has been developed for experienced training sector users.
Vocational Education and Training (VOCED)
is a free research database for technical and vocational education and training. It contains international research abstracts with a special focus on Australia and the Asia Pacific region. It includes over 35,000 English language records, many with links to full text documents.
The 2006 Adult Literacy and Life Skills Survey (ALLS)
provides information on knowledge and skills of 15 to 74 year olds in prose literacy, document literacy, numeracy and problem solving skills, and the ability to understand health related information. The ALLS was conducted in Australia as part of an international study coordinated by Statistics Canada and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
