  • Australian Communication Exchange (ACE) is a not-for-profit, Australian organisation dedicated to empowering those who are deaf or have a hearing, speech or communication impairment, to obtain access to the telephone and other telecommunication networks.
  • Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) describes levels of performance in the 5 core skills of: Learning, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication and Numeracy. These skills are essential for people to participate in our society. People need to communicate effectively in many different ways, for diverse purposes, in a variety of contexts and to think critically about information and ideas.
  • Blind Citizens Australia contains a list of accesibility resources.
  • Industry Skills Council works to involve industry with the development of nationally applicable vocational education and training. ISCs give all industries, peak bodies, enterprises, unions, training organisations and governments a voice in Australia's vocational education and training system through a national system of industry advisory arrangements and a structure based on industry-led boards of directors and standing committees.
  • The Job Guide website includes hundreds of occupational profiles, and is available in two versions. The text version is suitable for slower connections and users of screen readers. All other users should use the graphic version.
  • National Accrediting Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) is a national standards body owned by the Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments of Australia. It is also an advisory body for the Translation and Interpreting (T&I) industry in Australia providing advice and consultancy services on T&I standards, accreditation, role and conduct of Translators and Interpreters and T&I skills in various settings.
  • The National Agreement for Skills and Workforce Development was agreed by the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) in November 2008. This agreement defines the objectives, outcomes, outputs and performance measures, and clarifies the roles and responsibilities that will guide the Commonwealth and States and Territories in delivery of services across the skills and workforce development sector.
