The Trade Training Centres in Schools Program aims to help address national skills shortages in traditional trades and emerging industries by improving trade training programs in secondary schools.

The Hon Peter Garrett AM MP visited Loyola Senior High School to view the Trade Training Centre under construction. The TTC is due for completion at the end of 2011.

Loyola Senior High School was awarded funding as part of a cluster, to provide new training facilities that will offer qualifications in the hospitality, construction, automotive, electrical and engineering industries. 

Applications for the Round Four of the Trade Training in Schools program will open in early 2011.
