The Green Report
The current Schools Assistance Act 2008 requires the Minister for Education to produce an annual report (known as the Green Report) with respect to the financial assistance granted and other payments authorised under the Act to be presented to each House of Parliament as soon as practicable after 30 June. The report provides a detailed breakdown of expenditure for the previous year from funds appropriated by the Act and a brief description of how funding was allocated in line with the agreed objective and outcomes for schooling.
Funding is provided by the Commonwealth Government as part of its contribution to the national effort for Australian schooling and the programs funded represent an integrated approach by the Government to support the provision of primary and secondary education.
Gazette
The Act requires the Minister for Education to gazette a list of non-government, non-systemic and systemic, schools for which financial assistance is provided under the Act.
Non-government school SES scores, funding status and funding levels
Non-government school SES scores are determined under the Act and are published at SES Funding Help. The funding status of non-government schools receiving financial assistance and related funding levels are also published.
