The following case studies were conducted in early 2008. They highlight the exemplary work being done in schools across the country. The schools have a specific focus on social and emotional competency development and resilience building. Twenty schools were selected from the states and territories. They were recommended by state and territory personnel who work in the areas of drug education, well-being and/or student welfare.
