Below are suggested self-awareness lesson plans, activities and other useful resources for an explicit approach to teaching the social and emotional competencies to early years’ students. It can be the starting point for a school staff to construct their own set of desired skills and teaching/learning activities that match the school’s vision and beliefs. The lesson plans were prepared by participants during some of the National All REDI workshops as a means of engaging teachers in discussion about social and emotional learning.
