Ice: Luke’s story

Ice: Luke’s story

“When I went over to a mate’s houses, one of his friends was staying over. We all knew he had a problem with ice and one of the conditions of him staying there was that he didn't use it anymore.

“When I got there he was outside the house looking in the bushes. He was convinced that there was someone or something watching him. He was really freaking out so I went to phone the guy that he lived with. He went inside and when he came back he was carrying an ornamental Japanese sword that was hanging on the wall and was pointing it at me, telling me to stop talking to the police officer. I’d better not dob him in or he'd hurt me.

“Luckily his friends showed up and managed to get the sword off him and take him inside. For the next hour he was yelling and screaming and hiding in the corner. Finally I think he wore himself out and went to sleep. Due to the danger he was to us, my friend had to ask him to leave and we just recently found out that he was in jail for assault.”

I WISH I’D KNOWN...

Ice is very addictive and can cause people to lose touch with reality. Although it is a very pure drug, this can make it even more dangerous.
