National Literacy and Numeracy Week 2009 will be held from 31 August to 6 September 2009 across Australia to promote the importance of literacy and numeracy as fundamental life skills, and to highlight effective literacy and numeracy practices on a national scale.
The theme for the Week is Getting the Basics Right.
