Computer Technologies for Schools (CTFS) Project
The Computer Technologies for Schools project is a national project that sources donations of information and communication technology (ICT) equipment from the public and private sector and arranges for its use in schools throughout Australia. The ICT equipment is distributed state and non-government schools across Australia according to need. The CTFS project helps Australian school students and their teachers gain greater access and a better understanding of computer technologies.

Better Practice Guide - ICT in Schools

Exemplar Schools: Using Innovative Learning Technologies Report and Digistories
The aim of the Exemplar Schools study was to identify, case study and document exemplary use of information and communication technologies in Australian schools. Schools were identified in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Devonport. At each school interviews were conducted with principals, teachers, parents and students. A series of multimedia stories - digistories - were captured to assist teachers with ideas and practical tips for teaching with a wide range of technologies. The Report was provided to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations in August 2008.

Partnerships in Information Communication Technology Learning (PICTL) Report and Case Studies
The PICTL study was a large research enterprise involving groups of pre-service teachers, teachers and teacher educators in each state and territory undertaken from April 2005 to July 2007. The report was provided to the Department in October 2007.

Australian Information and Communications Technology in Education Committee (AICTEC)
The AICTEC is a national, cross-sectoral committee responsible for providing advice to all Australian Ministers of Education and Training on the economic and effective utilisation of online technologies in Australian education and training.
Council of Australian Governments (COAG)
The COAG is the peak intergovernmental forum in Australia. COAG comprises the Prime Minister, State Premiers, Territory Chief Ministers and the President of the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA). The role of COAG is to initiate, develop and monitor the implementation of policy reforms that are of national significance and which require cooperative action by Australian governments such as the Digital Education Revolution.
Education Services Australia
Education Services Australia Limited (ESA) has been established through the merger of Curriculum Corporation and Education.au Limited.
ESA commenced operations on 1 March 2010. ESA is building on the existing expertise and reputations of Curriculum Corporation and Education.au Limited to provide efficient education services to meet the future needs of all education sectors, particularly in relation to the implementation of national initiatives such as the National Curriculum and the Digital Education Revolution.
ESA is a not-for-profit, ministerial company established to provide services to the Ministerial Council for Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs and other education and training bodies.

MCEETYA ICT in Schools Taskforce (ICTST)
Until early 2008, the MCEETYA ICTST was responsible for providing strategic advice to all Australian Education Ministers on issues related to the use of information communication technologies and there are several resources available on its website.
The ICTST was discontinued in February 2008. Please refer to the Australian Information and Communications Technology in Education Committee (AICTEC) website for the latest information.

me.edu.au provides Australian education and training professionals with an online networking and profile space through edna.edu.au
The Le@rning Federation
The Le@rning Federation develops free online curriculum content for all Australian and New Zealand schools and delivers it to educational jurisdictions. The project is a collaborative initiative of all Australian and New Zealand education ministers.
