Job Guide is written and produced for a Year 10 audience and includes information on over 500 occupations, state specific contact details for training providers as well as job search information and advice.

Job Guide is distributed to all Australian schools with Year 10 students in March/April of each year. Each school receives enough copies for all Year 10 students and up to 25 reference copies. Year 10 enrolment numbers are collected from the annual census data provided to DEEWR by each state and territory government.

The secondary audience for reference copies of Job Guide are senior schools and colleges with Year 11 and 12 enrolments. Job Guide is also distributed to the career advisers at all TAFEs and universities as well as to youth focused Australian Government funded program providers giving career advice and support to Year 10 aged students.
