The $14.1 billion Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21) element is the largest component of the Building the Education Revolution (BER) program with over 10 500 projects being delivered in primary schools across Australia.
Already, many schools and their communities are enjoying the benefits of completed projects, which have delivered much needed large scale infrastructure, supported local jobs and stimulated investment.
In the interest of transparency and public accountability, and in conjunction with all Education Authorities, the Australian Government has put in place a nationally common reporting structure with consistent definitions to be applied across all states, territories and sectors.
Here you can find school specific actual costs for P21 projects in a common reporting structure with consistent definitions. The costs are provided from the stage of ‘practical completion’. This means that the building or facility is fit for its intended purpose, but might mean that some elements, such as final landscaping, may not be complete. Because of this, some figures may change after all work is totally completed and projects are financially acquitted.
This information has been provided by the state and territory Education Authorities and will allow you to see what the BER program has been able to provide in your local community.
Projects are searchable by school name, postcode and state. Please enter one or more search criteria in the fields below. If the school you are searching for is not listed at this time you may want to check this website again at a later date.
