The ACSF describes levels of performance in the 5 core skills of Learning, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication and Numeracy.

Each core skill contains:

• An overview, including the principles that informed development
  
• A summary of the factors against which the Performance Features are described for each Indicator
  
• An overview of the Indicators across the 5 levels of performance
  
• The detail for each level of the core skill showing the Indicators, Performance Features and the Sample Activities
