Understanding Indigenous Jobseeker Engagement
The Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is currently undertaking research in selected regional and remote locations across Australia. The purpose of the research is to inform the Department about ways to enhance the value of work experience activities provided by DEEWR’s Employment Service Providers to Indigenous job seekers.
The research is being conducted on DEEWR’s behalf by independent market research agency Colmar Brunton Social Research between June and July 2010.

Indigenous Employment Program, Participant Survey
As part of the government evaluation of Indigenous Job Services Programs, The DEEWR is also currently conducting a survey of Indigenous job seekers who have been part of the Indigenous Employment Program (IEP) in the last 12 months.
The survey will be conducted by telephone / email survey on a number of randomly selected IEP participants between June and August 2010. This survey will also be conducted on DEEWR’s behalf by Colmar Brunton Social Research
