Types of Reports

Project Progress Report

The purpose of this report is, in accordance with the requirements of the Funding Agreement for Capital Funding under the BURF initiative, to report against the milestones in the Schedule of Works. The report is required by all universities, except if the university is providing a Final Report. Use the Project Progress Report template (under Resources, below) for your report.

We suggest you review the BURF reporting scenarios - additional advice and the Progress report - slipped milestones example (under Resources, below) when completing a progress report.

Final Report

In accordance with the requirements of the Funding Agreement for Capital Funding under the BURF initiative, all Universities must submit a Final Report within one month of the completion of the Project. The BURF Final Report also reports on the progress and expenditure against the milestones in the Schedule of Works. In addition the Final Report includes certificates and statements as specified in clauses 9.2 to 9.7 of the Funding Agreement. Use the Final Report template (under Resources, below) for your report.

Due Dates

The first Project Progress Report is due on 31 July 2009. After that, Progress Reports are due every six months until the completion of the Project.

The Final Report is due within one month of the completion of the Project.

All reports must be submitted in both electronic and hard copy.
