The Social Innovation Group, within the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, develops and demonstrates new ways of working across public, private and community sectors to mobilise financial and non-financial resources differently to create social impact.

Our work includes support for the development of the social enterprise sector; the establishment of a new, integrated service approach to supporting children, families and communities over the long term; and initiatives to support the development of the impact investing market in Australia.
