The Office for the Not-for-Profit Sector has launched its own website www.notforprofit.gov.au to start a conversation about the Australian Government’s important work in reforming the not-for-profit sector – one of the largest sectors of the Australian economy and society!
We know the sector is hungry for information on how the reforms will take place and how it can be involved. The Office has created this website to provide a quick and easy area for individuals and organisations to access this information. For instance, you can find out about the outcomes of reform meetings on the site or how to make a submission on discussion papers.
The Office is also working to make the site a one-stop shop for the not-for-profit sector on how to access government: who should I talk to, where can I find help, what is the right department to go to? As the site develops it will support organisations by helping to minimize the time and effort it takes to navigate across government.
