Australian Apprenticeships

If you are looking for a great way to get skills while you work, you may want to do an Australian Apprenticeship. You will work while you do your apprenticeship so you get to learn on the job and also receive formal training in the relevant field, as agreed with your employer through a Training Contract. This contract details the legal obligations for both you and your employer during your Australian Apprenticeship.

Australian Apprenticeships are available to anyone of working age, regardless of your level of education, and can be completed full-time, part-time, or while you are still at school.

Apprenticeships are available in a variety of qualification levels in more than 500 occupations, in traditional trades as well as emerging careers.

And if you are aged 25 years or over, you or your employer may be eligible for financial support during the first two years of your Australian Apprenticeship:

More information is available is available from the Australian Apprenticeships website.

Or you can search for your local Australian Apprenticeships Centre on the Australian Apprenticeships website.
