Are you interested in gaining new skills to help find a job?
There is help available, particularly if you are interested in work in an area of skills shortage.
Productivity Places Program
The Productivity Places Program recognises that many Australians now change the type of work they do over their careers. This program allows jobseekers to train or re-train in areas of skills shortage.
If you are a job seeker, you can contact your Job Services Australia provider to discuss your eligibility for training places being delivered via the state and territory governments.
If you do not have a Job Services Australia provider, you can contact Centrelink on 13 28 50.
