The following occupational reports are produced as part of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relation’s (DEEWR’s) skill shortage research program. Research focuses on highly skilled occupations, that is, those which usually require at least three years post-school education or training. Occupational coverage is concentrated in the professions, associate professions and trades, although a number of occupations in the management group are also included in the program. Reports published here generally reflect research undertaken in 2011. Note that occupation coverage varies from year to year.
