In Home Care and Occasional Care Allocation

In Home Care and Occasional Care Allocation

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) is seeking applications from operators of In Home Care and Occasional Care services, or persons applying for approval of such services, interested in receiving an allocation of places. The application closing date has been extended to Friday 30 March 2012.

Following the application closing date, DEEWR will conduct an assessment of all applications received. The assessment will be undertaken in accordance with the Child Care Benefit (Allocation of Child Care Places) Determination 2000, further details are provided in the Allocation Guidelines.

Operators of new In Home Care or Occasional Care services cannot be approved unless places are available for allocation to the service. If you want to be considered for an allocation of currently available places, new services that propose to operate an In Home Care or Occasional Care service will need to complete the Application Under the Family Assistance Law for the Purposes of Child Care Benefit. This application must be submitted at the time of a request for an allocation of places.
