Family Day Care Operational Support

Operational Support is funding to eligible Family Day Care services that are approved to receive Child Care Benefit on behalf of families. The payment is a contribution towards the operational expenses of Family Day Care services providing support to a network of carers who provide flexible care and operate in a number of different locations.

Eligibility

All Family Day Care services that are approved for Child Care Benefit purposes or centre based services providing approved Family Day Care are eligible to receive Operational Support funding.

Family Day Care services that receive Operational Support are not eligible to also receive Family Day Care Sustainability Assistance or Budget Based Funding.
