Job Services Australia - Home

On 1 July 2009, the Australian Government introduced a new approach to employment services -
Job Services Australia. Representing an investment of $4.9 billion over the next three years, Job Services Australia is designed to meet the employment and recruitment requirements of both job seekers and employers. Job Services Australia replaces previous employment services such as Job Network and will provide new opportunities for Australians to receive one-on-one assistance and tailored employment services.

Job Services Australia - it’s the job service that’s built around you

Moving from Job Network to Job Services Australia is about far more than just a name change and a new logo. It is about developing a new approach to employment services, one that is highly focused on meeting your needs, whether you’re a job seeker, or an employer. Job Services Australia folds seven separate employment services programs into a one-stop shop, giving you a single entry point to a range of user friendly employment services, with no interruptions in the delivery of those services.

It’s about simplified processes and streamlined services, to give job seekers increased flexibility and access to support and services that are relevant to their individual circumstances. It’s about removing ‘caps’ and waiting periods, so job seekers can get into the right training or back into the workforce faster, and employers can find the staff they need as soon as possible. It’s about you, and providing the services you need. Job Services Australia - it’s the job service that’s built around you.
